It's been hot here in Peoria, going to be 108 F today and was 111 yesterday but I did manage to get in the shop after a week's absence and turned this Music Kit pen.

But it's a dry heat, right????? That is a beautiful work of art - any musician would be ecstatic to own one. Glad you shared, I know someone who would really appreciate that design.

Welcome George. No matter how you slice it, 108 f is a hot day. We're above 90 most of this week, but in close proximity to Lake Michigan we'll be pushing 80% humidity--hard to keep my gills dry!!

Earl, you're right about the humidity. A few people think because its dry heat its not so bad. But consider an oven is dry heat........
