A couple of months ago,I shared that my wife had passed away, and that it was hard to try to get the fun back into the hobby.

I really appreciated all of the encouraging thoughts and prayers, and the suggestion that I made pens for the Hospice nurses that took such good care of my wife.

It was good therapy for me to make that project, and finish up several other pens that I started last spring before shutting the doors.

So here's some pics of how they turned out.Seems I made one extra.I made two using laminated guitar wood, and then wanted to use up the BOW I had for the rest,as that was my wife's favorite species of wood.I put butterflies on the wrappings because that was my wife's pesonality-likeness.

I hope they liked them!

I finished a golf-themed stamp pen too, that was fun to do,along with a Saturn pen I used a pretty piece of curly Koa on.

Thanks for lookin'
Steve

Steve, that is a terrific group of pens and obviously very well done. They will be appreciated. I hope the therapy of making them was helpful to you as well. Those nurses must have one of the hardest jobs on this earth. Very nice thought on your part.
Chin up and do keep turning.
