Starting to feel a bit better about my technique but still a long way to go! Turned these & like how they look. Both are from PSI Slimline kits: On the left is Redbud cut down in our yard last fall & on the right is Cocobolo. Sanded with 120, 220, 320, 400, 600 & 2000 then polished with HUT bars & burnished with shavings.

Edit: There is a section that deals with pen photography. Not sure what you used for the photos, but I suggest working on getting closer to show more detail.

Laid them on a piece of Cherry & used my Android phone.

Smokey S already quite aware of that, as the "CFO" reminds me frequently!
