Ok, so, I am reading a PM from Andy, and he mentions that Woodcraft via Amazon has a Rikon 70-050 VS mini on sale for 199.00...no shipping. 30 seconds later I have one coming.
First off, I have a tool purchasing issues, and good deals really wear on me.
We are so busy at work now I only go home long enough to sleep, so to tell the truth I really don't even know what I bought. I have a 46-460 Delta, which I really love, so this is going to be dedicated for drilling and a Beall Buff center. Previously, I had purchased a 70-100 Rikon for just the same purpose, but was helping a friend learn how to turn and sold it to him after two weeks. I was happy with it.....how does this lathe differ from that one. It calls it economy but appears to have the same specs as the 70-100..or at least what they list.
They say I won't have until the 8th or 9th and the suspense is killing me. Anybody know?
