Hi,
need to make some pencils using Schimdt DSM 315 found here

http://media.wix.com/ugd/ad011b_eadb14cf2399a49fa62504051baff401.pdf

Page 13.

The plain metal just in front of the thread is 8mm exactly so i think its 8.5 x 0.5mm but i need to be exact to order a tap.

If anyone happens to know please and i would be very grateful. Schmidt have been asked but are not quick or even reliable, by that i mean they sometimes don't reply.

Now i have to try and think of a way to be able to use the rubber and to press the mechanism by the rubber (eraser) to advance the lead. Apart from a threaded cap.

Thank you

Pete

Pete - Thanks for posting. I'm sure the info will come in handy for someone else some day. Maybe me!

Too bad it wasn't M8x0.5 or M8.5x1.0. I know where to get those.
