Hi all, its been awhile since I been around, but I have been running in 6th gear for some time. So I thought I would touch base since I have a minute or two before I go again :smile:

I finally officially retired from the insurance business after 30 years and sold my agency to my sons. This freed me up to expand my pen store to a new location in Scottsdale, AZ. I dediced to change the name of my store from PenWorks to my own name brand of pens & shaving brushes "Penchetta" Also expanded my type of inventory to not only fine pens, but added a shaving section along with a large knife selection and other cool stuff men like. Such as the Filson line, Luminox watches, and soon cigars.

My daughter Vanessa has come with me to the store. She keeps me in line and still does shipping for Fountain Pen parts - NIBS, - Wholesale Fountain Pen Ink - Golden Nib AZ and manages sales at the new store. I could not have done it without her.

I am heading to the SHOT show in Vegas next week to look for more stuff for the store, then the LA pen show in Feb and also will be demoing at the AAW symposium in San Jose this year. So a full schedule again.

Sorry for the long winded to do. Thought about posting this in casual conversation, but didn't want anyone getting teed at me for trying to get free addvertisement :eek:

So if any turners are ever in the Scottsdale area, stop in and say HEY.

So I guess I better addvertise something for sale here.:cool:

I know you all make your own pens here, but if you ever feel the need for a pen made by a manufacturer. I stock over 1000 pens from 20 different companies I would be happy to discount any pen 25% for IAP members. Just send me an email through IAP of what you want. I will get back to you with availability and prices.

Anthony, seems you retired like I did, now I hope you left time for the golf course. BTW congratulations on the Fusion shaving head and much success with Penchetta
 
Thanks.....yea so much for the retirement :eek: I didn't relize how good I had it in the insurance gig, a little work here, alot of golf there :smile: My game is non existant latley. Maybe once a month at the links is about it. I hope this will change once I sort everything out. Finding time to turn has been another issue as well. But the good thing about it, is I enjoy it still. Hope to see some of you at the AAW show in San Jose.

Now, I hate to be a killjoy, but conversation is not permitted in the classifieds.

This thread would have been just fine in Casual Conversation without the Ad.
