does anyone have any extra tubes for the Orion pen kit i need 2 sets and also need 1 tube for the Patriot pen kit if anyone wants to sell them to me please let me no thanks steve

Can't help with the exact tube for the kits, but this may help

Some of the suppliers on this forum probably sell them also. Being new on here I haven't hit all the suppliers sites yet!

What's the best way to cut these? I've found a tubing cutter seems to crimp the end a little, and a dremel cutoff wheel is hard to get square and leaves a burr. Is there a better way?

Glue them in before cutting, cut, then sand flush.

You can use an exacto small miter box and a hobby razor saw,
or one of these cut off saws if you do a lot of them

I have the old version from a couple years ago, different color plastic. I have seen and examined a number of different brand names They all appear to be made by the same company the only difference other then the colors is a higher price.
I needed to cut a couple hundred short sections of tube and wood pieces. It worked well enough for the price. $27.99 on the web site. It uses a 2" dia fine tooth blade but I have also used the 2"dia abrasive wheel.
Or these jeweler tubing cutter fixtures.

if using non kit tubes i cut a little long on by miter sae, glue in to the blank and then trim to almost finish with my miter saw and finish to length with my pen mill when facing the blank to size.

If that cutoff saw was just a little bigger it would be great for cutting blanks.

I have the same problem with crimping the ends with tubing cutter. I just cut them long and square them on the belt or disk sander, using the miter gauge. Light touch and they square up great, matching the original length. The other methods mentioned here also work well - this works for me.

I haven't tried it yet but somebody, said they put a 4/5" wood saw blade on one of those small tile saws as a cheaper version of the 4" table saws. I have had a 4" Dremel table saw for 25 years and it is the greatest for small work.
I have seen a 4 or 6" chop miter saw like the 10'ers for wood, can't remember the brand or were it was if I do I will post it.
Just checked it is by Proxxon mini chop/miter saw 3 1/8" dia blade a little pricey.
