This may not be the right place for this. I did try a search, but maybe didn't have right key words.
I made a twist pen that my wife loves but, the pen point keeps working back into the nib as she uses it. Doesn't happen right away, just after she uses it for a while. It twists smoothly, although it feels a bit "looser" than some of the others I've put together. I do notice that as it extends, the point doesn't seem to recess back in at the end of twisting it open like some of the others.
It's a Slimline type but I have no idea what brand. It was in a package of half a dozen that I bought at a wood warehouse in Tampa when I was just getting started.
Is there something to adjust, or easier to disassemble and put a new transmission in? Is this common problem with twist pens? Others I have put together seem to be fine.
