Pen Storage Case

I needed a case to store my pens and came up with this walnut box with a framed glass lid. It has a velvet lined tray that has holds 10 pens. My only regret was not adding a small drawer on the bottom..

I made one very similar for my son, but I added a secret drawer at the bottom (no knob, locked closed with a pin).

The tray is a piece of 3/4" mdf and the groves were cut with a core box router bit. Contact cement on the velvet
