With all this pen turning going on I realized that I don't really have a place to store all my wares.. so I came up with this little stand.. I'll eventually make a drawer cabinet for them that will allow me to store more pens but that's down the road .. it's basically up up of 1/2" thick poplar and oak with cut outs to hold the pens in place while on the bottom I countersunk little holes for the pen bibs to sit in .. this unit will only hold like 11 pens but it's a start.

The whole stand is comprised of dado and rabbet joints joining the top to the center support that's connects into the base with another dado and rabbet joint.

Things like this will always enhance your pens when you display them and there is so many ideas you can do. Hope you continue down this path and show some more ideas. Good luck.

Looks good to me, you put more work into yours than I did. Maybe I need to reconsider something nicer. I made something similar from some Maple that fell on my sisters house a few years ago.
