I used some pine 2x4 and epoxyed a piece of metal so I can chuck it up to the drill press. The problem is that the wood keeps cracking in half. I was asking how you made your top piece that chucks into your drill press.

That looks like a good idea Cherie, thanks for sharing.

I only recently started using the drill press for this purpose but without any jigs. Even without a jig it works pretty good but you have saved me from doing balancing acts!:smile:

Dave, I did not make it, my husband did. I will take some better pics of it and post them on this thread, maybe that will help. As for the piece of wood attached to the bolt, we used doubled sided tape.

Your welcome Keith, I was having problems with the other way I pressed the pens together, this is much easier not only on my hands, but on the pen pieces, oh and quicker! :biggrin:
