I need to get a new one (don't ask what I did to the old one). Who makes the highest quality cutter that has a wide variety of pilots available? I'd prefer carbide, but I want a four tooth cutter, not two. I primarily use mine in the drill press.

Dont know about the different qaulities but I bought mine from woodnwhimsies about 8 months ago for 19.95 wich was 10 dollars less than my buddy payed for the same set from woodcraft.Have had no problems with the set. Looked on thier site and they still sell it for 19.95.7mm-8mm-3/8-10mm-4 cutter 3/4" head- allen wrench and sleeve for the Pkmont kits. I'd buy another one from them tommorrow if something happened to this one.

I have the Woodcraft set, and wouldn't recommend it. The flat section for the set screw that makes the head stay put goes all the way to the end of the shaft, where the chuck jaws grab it. On some of the other shafts, the flat spot is contained, and the section where the jaws grab goes back to round. On mine, I can't seem to get a smooth rotation; the shaft wobbles, presumably because the the jaws don't have a round surface to connect with. Seems like a bad design to me.
