Hello everyone, this is the contest - Pen Makers Challenge - for our Birthday Bash. Here are a few basic rules for this contest.

There will be four challenges during the month of our Birthday Bash, one challenge each week. Entrants will be judged anonymously and there will be a 1st and 2nd prize for each contest. 1st week - Our 1st challenge is a Segmented Slimline. Use any Segmenting, Materials and Plating you desire. All the parts from the Slimline pen kit MUST be used. Pens must also have shape, please no B2Bs. Good Luck everyone!

3rd week - This week you may use any pen kit you wish, no modifications. Make a pen from wood or stabilized wood that has cracks and or voids. You must fill the cracks, voids with any material OTHER than wood. Be imaginative have fun!

4th week - Make a pen from any kit you desire and from ANY materials you wish, no modifications. You can used multiple materials or just one, your choice. The catch is, you must make a matching pen stand of any shape from the same materials used on the pen.

Please send your entries to:

somethingsomething.org - Jeff can you set something up so the judges and I can see each entry?

OK guys what do you think of the wording now? Specific enough? These questions will be posted separately each week but I wanted you to see them all. Hopefully there will be enough prizes for 1st and 2nd, if not that part of the posting will change. Are there any volunteers for judging?

Becca - You have four challenges. Do you want to award first, second, and third for each? That would be twelve prizes. Do you have any preferences from the list of prizes? What day of the week and what time are you going to begin and end your challenges? Thanks!

Scott.
