Would there be any interest in a weekend get together in SE Ohio in October? I'd like to have demos and vendors for a 2 day event..... trying to gauge interest.......

Are you aware there is a gathering every spring near you? Look up the Midwest Penturning Gathering, also known as MPG. There is another in Florida too.

I am aware, it's 2 hours north of me, corporate woodcraft is about 10 minutes away from me and I believe I'm the only local that traveled to MPG..... there are a lot of turners locally that don't use IAP or Facebook......

September is probably better because of craft shows and the symposium in Cincinnati which does not leave much time to organize but it could happen.

You should come to the Ohio group cook out, most of the MPG planning committee will be there, I am sure we can answer a ton of questions and maybe even warn you of some pit falls that may lie ahead.
