This my pen display that i'm using for exhibitions. I made it with what we call here Virginian cherrywood.

It can contain 48 pens, more than sufficient for an exhibition.

The inserts for the pens are made from a plastic tube. I've cut it with the bandsaw in the middle and glue them on the bottom of the drawers. Easy and cheap [:)]

I made my inserts from wood offcuts and a core box bit. I'm looking at some other profiles that may be even better. This is prototype #1; the idea being that each insert is removable and can be migrated into a custom box that a pen can be sold with.
