Pen display concept

I had this idea! Please let me know your thoughts.
Simple to make with few parts.
Now I'm thinking of what could be laser etched on either the curves or the flat.

Have to ask yourself what is the concept?? To be able to show off that very special pen but do not touch it??? To me if I have that real special pen that needs to be protected, then something more elaborate so that the pen blends with the case weather the same material or same theme. Just to show a pen off there are many basic stands that can be embellished or taken to another level. I do not see the allure to this but that is just my opinion.

Nice concept. Sort a a museum/archiving type of thing. Engraving could enhance it, depending on the art, etc. Also, how easy is it to access the pen?
