Looks similar to one that PSI used to sell. However yours appears to be made better. The PSI ones were about $100. That is a great gift for a pen make/collector.

That's a nice gift to receive. Even at $80.00 it's a pretty nice set up. The fact that those hinges have to have a channel bored out of the side panel speaks to it's quality. I used a similar hinge on my jewelry boxes and humidors, way back when, that were Gold gilded, not cheap but neither were the boxes I sold. Nice.
