Whenever I have a small stock of pens I tend to take them around with me in my day to day jobs, never miss an opportunity. I usually have them all in their individual boxes and struggle to get them all layer out for people to see. I have been wanting a better solution for a while now and I have previously had a commercially available display box but was poor quality so I decided to have a go at making one. I was given a wooden box about 12 months ago and just stuck it under the bench until something came along for it. I had some steamed beech about 36" x 6" x 3/4" so thought I would glue some boards together and route some grooves to lay the pens in. It took me ages but I think it was well worth it. I have sold 4 pens since making the box, I think because I open the lid and there they are, ready to be seen and bought. I have yet to finish the outside of the box and complete the rows of elastic to restrain the pens.
Thanks for looking. C&Cs welcome.
