Pen Disassembly

I have a Salute the Troops pen that I need to disassemble and was wondering if the Penn State disassembly tool would work with out damaging the pen. Thanks.

No idea but I use the transfer pins, wrap the pen with a piece of shelf liner, grip tight and tap the transfer pin. Some taps might be firm to get the part started. Also, I place a fluffy bath towel on the workbench. Too old to crawl around to look for stray parts.

Thanks, I tried that. It assembled easily without a lot of pressure but I need to make an adjustment and its being difficult to take apart.

Use a bigger hammer? j/k...I have found that sometimes some force is needed. Light taps turn into sharp raps.
