Do you have an excess or more of one type of blank or blanks you don't like? Wanna trade a few? I'm interested in trading some blanks with a few turners. Here is kinda what I have in mind, you send me 3 blanks and I send you 3 in return, if we can develop an interest in this we could have some fun with it and maybe not have to shop for blanks so much. Or maybe buy a few extra of some type to hold as trading stock.. Ya never know what you may end up with. Anyone interested, write me direct and lets discuss it.

I'm totally in. So how about to add some fun when we get a final count of whose interested. I'm thinking a surprise Santa type of thing. Each person fills a small (or medium if the group decides that's better) box with blanks. One person PMs a mailing address to each participant. That way you won't know whose sending your treat box.

I will be out of town for two weeks starting next Thursday. I'm willing to do the PMs if we have a completed list by next Tuesday.

If that's fun maybe we could do the surprise treat box monthly
 
Cool sounds like we have a list going. I think we should set a $ range to keep feelings from getting hurt

Also do we want to have a smaller monthly and a big annual swap?

If we do have a big annual swap do we want to have a small $5 or so fee donated to IAP or another cause to get on the list?

Are there any other thoughts?
 
i think the small flat rate box would be good to start with that way u dont have alot of money tied up in it for the people who on a budget i am one of them people that way they can get involved with this to.

1. PM your mailing address and I will return a your "secret Pen friend"

2. If you would like me to list what you have to trade and your wishes I will try to match these up.

3. Let's start with a small flat rate box and see how that works. (If any of you are interested in trading a second box let me know and if there is enough interest and can match those up)

4. So it's fair to all we should set a value range. Let me know what range is comfortable for you in the PM

My lovely wife will be mailing mine out in Monday. I again realized that I need to label my blanks better the first time! I have no idea what most are I put in.

i got my box today to the person who sent it i loved it can use all the stuff that was in it. not sure if it is ok to say who they come from so i wont say right now but you know who you are. thank you very much they will be put to go use i have a big show first of july and some of the blanks will be turned at that show. oh by the way if we do another one of these trades i will surewant to get in it.

My blanks are all packaged up and on the way out tomorrow!

Also got a box in the mail today! Lots of stuff I've never turned before so I am pretty pumped to try it out! I'll wait to say who also but they know! Thanks a bunch!
