Hi, I created and 3d printed a small tool to cut pen blanks to length. Although I used metric screws, it should also work with others.

I like what you have done here. Thank you for sharing.

I hope you don't mind me sharing an idea for an improvement on the design. In reading your instructions you note that you might need an extra 1-2mm length on the blank. Why don't you design the sliding stop block so that when the tube is placed in as in your picture, it automatically sizes the blank to be cut 2mm longer?

Thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it! I also thought about it to add those 2mm to the stop block, but I didn't want to force others to it. ;-) Maybe my next version will have an adjustable "extra space", but before I have to learn more about 3D modelling.
