These are my 6th and 7th pens. The Slimline is in white acrylic and my 7th pen is a Majestic is in green maple burl. The 1st pens that I did were very pregnant. I hope that I redeemed myself with these. Comments, suggestions, and criticisms are all welcome.

Nothing wrong with a wasp bodied pen every now and then, we've all done them....it's just turning something that the 'customer' wants. Looks like you have 'nailed' the finish on that dyed Maple....how many coats?
The slim looks to have a good fit-n-finish also!

Scott (congrats on 6 & 7) B

I did 8 coats of medium CA (I know it is an odd number of times, but I was running out of paper towel). I hit each coat with my last 2 grit of sanding pads (1200 & 1500). After the last coat and sanding I used a one touch polish.

Very nice looking pens. I've been turning pens close to 4 years now & today I just finished my largest wasp bodied slimline ever. But the customer wanted one so I had to make it the way he wanted.
