So today I made "Pen #12" ☺️
I went with a "new to me" kit from Turners Warehouse called "Field Click" in a gunmetal finish and pared it with some curly Walnut I had.

I'm not 100% happy with my fit & finish on this one (I just couldn't sand my ends perfectly flush), but this is my first click pen I've made and I love the weight and feel of this one. I might need to stock up on a few more of these! They didn't have assembly instructions available online but I sat there for a few moments trying to figure out the best order of operations and I think it went in mostly the right order. I still need a better "photoshoot location & pen holder" than a paper towel and a scrap of wood, but the wood has some nice curls and color shifting going on. I will be putting a better refill in it and gifting it soon ☺️

That is a pretty piece of wood! I like clickers for general use, too and have thought about trying that kit. For #12, you are doing great on fit and finish. With a little more experience, you'll still have a few that you feel the same way about (at least I do).

I've been lucky in finding some great pieces lately in the "scrap bin" ☺️
