Peeling satin nickle finish

Wondering if anyone else has had problems with satin nickle finish peeling?? Its a american screwcap roller ball and it looks like they put a clear coating over the metal parts and well its all peeling off. Luckily this is only my personal pen and not one I gave to someone or sold. Tried to get a pic of it but you cant see it in the photo.

Who made it? I don't want to buy any if the coating peels off.

I had some from Woodcraft that had tiny bare spots but none that have pealed. They were running a sale on Europeans with satin finishs and I bought several. In fact I believe that they are still running this same sale.

Wayne actually I purchased these kits also from woodcraft cause they were on clerance so I bought a few of them. I still have I think 2 of them left so might keep them for myself.
