My cousin who also makes pens is looking for a peacock feather blank preferably with the "eye" showing (as in its obvious its peacock feather). Does anyone have or know where I can get one of these?

Peacock feathers do not cast well. Our theory: The color is produced by reflected light. When the feathers are glued to a tube and the light comes through clear resin, the effect is drastically reduced--or eliminated.

also the size doesn't translate well to a pen. The "eyes" are about better than an inch across if memory serves.
