I have said it many times before, it is the best money I have spent for anything turning related.

FYI, the next best thing is the new Glaser skew I recently bought.

I have the Penn state vise, NO COMPARISON!! The pen state vice will not hold up to repeated use, there is deflection when drilling any hard wood causing an elongated hole. With my Paul H vice bolted to my DP there is NO movement, no deflection, and accurate, repeatable results. Will agree, best money I've spent on a vice.

I agree with Ron. You cannot truly realize how much better Paul's vise is until you use it. It is like comparing the strength of plastic to metal. (typical plastic and metal, not esoteric ones! [:D] )

My drilling has improved immeasurable since I got my vise from Paul.
