That is one fabulous pen. I think I like the cast shell fragments even more than the cut strips glued to the tube. Thanks for showing.

Nice pen Peter. Thanks for sharing. I actually came across a container of those fragments a few days ago. I think your pen has inspired me to do something with them...as soon as our 105 degree days ease up. We have had 45 100+ days so far this summer. (38+ for those that measure temps in Celsius). Although, the resin is thin on these days but the curing is speeded up.

As said before Very Nice Pen. I've made a few of those but I think my chips are a bit larger. I like the looks of yours better than mine. Well Done

Looks great Peter! I've always favored the look of pieces vs strips. I just wish they didn't take so long to build. Keep up the beautiful work!
