Pallet wood pen from behind the BORG

Always on the prowl for unusual stuff. Found this in the scrap pallet stack behind the BORG. I think this came from a pallet that carried luan plywood. I have no idea what this is. I cut it at an angle because it looked like it had almost no figure. Well go "figure"[:I] it still doesn't. Unusual color though.

maybe a stain - if you got anymore left - could enhance the grain for some contrast - do another please!
