Pair of modified lever action pens

I thought I'd try a Paella burl and a brown mallee burl lever action. PSI has them on sale so I had to buy a few more. Im really happy with how the brown mallee came out. I ran out of gaboon ebony so I used some macassar ebony on the butt pad for it.

Actually the forestock is shortened to 1¼". With that I had to use a D1 ink and a spring from a mini bolt action, and an ink adapter from a mini click pen. I didn't like the original 2½" one, it made it look funny. My buttstock I make basically all on a 6" belt sander, then fine tune it. I also have made a few with a pistol grip but they take so much more time.

That is really impressive work. The wood is exceptional and the shape of your stock is spot on. The comb is even at the correct height. Bravo!
