Great Colours in the Blank,
From the Photograph Angle it looks like the Transition between the Blank and the Hardware, is a little on the Full Size. This would make the pen somewhat uncomfortable to use.
Care should be taken to reduce the Blank down to the Bush Size, over a reasonable distance so that your Finger Tips cannot detect any change in Dimension between the Blank and the matching Hardware.
This will come with Practice and Confidence.
Try Practicing on some Firewood pieces, this is a great way to gain the Experience, and Confidence, without it costing a lot of Money, and some Beautiful Blanks.
