OZ Rosewood laminated Panache

Well I have someone who send me some OZ Rosewood ( Dysoloxum Fraseranum ) also called rose mahogany. the inlay is Mango 1/8 thick ( my first trial, will do another one with thinner inlay, cut the blank on DS and the bit drill wonder when drilling ( don't have Paul vise yet ) one day will be better, thanks for looking comments welcome

I also like the thicker inlay as well. You get to see the contrasting of grains very well that way.

Serge, very nice pen. Like the inlay and wood choice. Just a real fancy combination. I noticed the Latin name "OZ Rosewood ( Dysoloxum Fraseranum )" is this from Fraser Island?

John the name of the wood got nothing to do with Fraser Island. the wood come from NSW ( New South Wales )
