Ornament Time!

I was fortunate enough to attend a turning workshop under the watchful eye of international wood turner Nick Agar a couple of weeks ago. Not only is he known for his turning, teaching, and demonstrations, but also for his finishing techniques.

Here are a couple of ornaments from day 1. These are both maple and are in traditional Christmas colors. The class was an exercise in spindle turning as well as the finishing.

Very nice. I like the coloring on both of them and really like the shape on the one in the first two pictures.
