Ok, so i didn't really know where to post this, and I would really like our resident professionals to help me out, so i decided to post it here. If it in the wrong place, please let me know and/or move it... thanks!

I got i nteh mail today some CRAZYWOOD!

I am going to use the top piece in the photo, but i am undecided as to the orientation of the blank in accordance with the components. Where should the light end be? on the body? or the lid? It is going on a full size Gent...

the pic is pretty big, so it wont attach... here is the link

IMHO I would use it just like it grew in nature. Maybe move the ends up or down, but keep as much color as you can towards the top so that it is always seen when posted.

Be sure to keep the growth pattern lined up when assembly is done.

Your selection looks like it will be a very nice turned pen upon completion. The other two appear that they will also turn out very nice as well.

Be sure to show us your finished pen.
