It's been a pretty miserable Winter in my corner of the globe, so it's really nice to see the early signs of Spring at last.
The sun was actually shining over the last couple of days which meant I had to make a sunny pen to encourage the warm weather to continue. A bit like a rain dance but different.
The pen uses 13mm triple lead threads for the cap and has a Jowo no6 nib. It opens in 1.5 turns and, as it uses triple lead threads and there are 6 facets, they always line up. Plus the pen never rolls away which is handy when taking photos.
And talking of Spring, the last photo shows some of the pen blanks I've been growing in my garden. As you can see they are now ready for picking and I'm very happy with them. They should make lovey pens.
(That's a joke folks, we all know it's still too early to harvest acrylic).
Cheers
