Opal #35 Ring was fun to make.

This was a learning curve first for me, though not steep. I'm sure many of you have been there and done this already. That said it was easy, quick and I'm very happy with the results.

Production notes
Black sharpie the inner race
Used 50 cps CA to adhere granules
Spray accelerator after each section of granules
Keep applying until over filled but try to keep it inside the inner race area
Add lots of CA to fill in gaps
Accelerator
Let dry well
Turn flush very slowly- I used a negative rake cutter to be easy
Sand with 400 grit
Buff well with triple E and white diamond

I just ordered 12 Inlay titanium ring cores and six containers of colored opal. I got a very good response in the two days I've had rings on display. The above ring was quite a hit.

This opal is known as opal 1 though I saw 35 on the bag which held the plastic container. It must be popular as it is out of stock.
