Today's craiglist find...

a Jet 1442VS - the ways need a bit of cleaning

not bad for $400

with the 1014 I picked up last week and this one - I think the 1236 will be dedicated to a Beall buffing station (now I need to buy one of those)

Make your own. 1/2" all thread washers(6) and nuts(6) are pretty cheap at big box stores. Drill chuck on headstock to turn, drill a 60 degree start at the other end and use a live center, and you're all set. Buffing wheels are pretty inexpensive also.

to be honest - this one was on CL for 24 hours before I picked it up. I was surprised it lasted that long.

let me know what you're looking for and I'll keep an eye out for you.
