Ongoing Negoro pen

Hi all,

A more elaborated Negoro pen.
I paid more attention to the wear areas in order to keep them as natural possible.
Just a couple of days to finish it.
The holder is also made in the same style but I used blue instead of black.

I needs 3 more layers of high grade Urushi to provide the glossy shine and, a lot of polishing with a special powder.

How do you do the threaded piece...the black piece that the cap screws onto the barrel.. Is it a separate part from the section ?
