I need one or two pieces of nicely figured yellow cedar burl/birdseye. I'll happily pay or trade...or both.

I just got through completing an order and drilled my last two pieces for pencils instead of one pen and one pencil...argh!!

I need one more piece for a Euro pen so I can complete a big order and I'm stuck.

Anyone...help...please.

Not certain that I understand . The lower barrel on a 7mm Euro can be shortened to the same length as a slim without a problem . Don`t know if the same applies to a 8mm . A 7 mm hole could be cast and re-drilled to 8mm without too much problem .

Could help with the wood , but would take 2 weeks to get to you .

I had two blanks cut and ready to drill. One was to be a Euro pen and the other a matching Euro pencil. Unfortunately, I drilled them both with the same bit by mistake. This made both blanks (4 halves) all drilled for the pencil size. Had I drilled them both for pen I could have gone bigger to get the pencil size in one, but they were both drilled for pencils so on the one that was supposed to be a pen, the hole is too big.

Not impossible to cast and re-drill , but very little room for error . Would you have a 1/4 to 1l2 inch long piece leftover from a drilled Euro that wouldn`t be too great a mismatch which could be glued to the nib end of the wrongly drilled one , then cast and re-drill from the nib end ? There shouldn`t be a tolerance problem anywhere other than the nib end .
