I was able to glance through an on-line sample of the book, and noticed that a lot of the pictures in the book are also reversed.

I haven't read any of the text, but reversed images in a book addressing something as fundamentally dangerous as woodturning is seriously negligent.

I found left-handed metric crescent wrench's at Home Depot a few years ago.
