This is my first post of a pen that I have made. I have been making pens for a couple of years and have just recently, since retiring, started to be vigirious in my efforts. The pen is an Olympian Elite II with 24kt Gold plating and has a body turned from a blank from KnB Pen Blanks here on IAP called Green & Copper Acrylic. The body was turned and sanded through 12000 Micro Mesh. I have since then sttarted to buff after the MM using a Beall Buffing System and that has increased the gloss.

I have been reading and making some comments here for a while and I have picked up and have used many things that the veterans here have explained as a better way that they complete the pen making process.

I have turned several of the KnB planks and they are very nice!

All comments are welcome, good or bad. Thanks.

A great looking pen. I have found that with the Beale buffing system you don't need the MM.
I sand through 600 and go straight to the Beale wheels. Saves a bunch of time and the finish is just as good.
