I picked up a 12" by 10" Olive Wood cutting board from Home Goods chain store. $14.99. Got 16. 7/8 x 7/8 x 5 inch blanks out of it. DSC06591.JPG

Here is what mine looked like finished. Patriot - Solarez finish; Bolt Action - CA finish (8 coats); Executive - CA finish ( just 2 coats thin - no sanding).
The only thing I regret is not picking a cutting board with grain on both sides. All banks were cross cut.
I also just noticed that I didn't press the top of the BA in all the way LOL.

They look great. KOA is a great wood...

Beautiful! The finish on the patriot is amazing. How do you like working with Solarez? Is it the UV cure polyester resin?

I've picked up pieces at Home Goods, T J Max, Marshals and Ross. Some, as is work great for cheese slicers. All I have to do is add the slicing arm.
