This piece started as a leftover section of kitchen benchtop, which measured 23in x 9in x 1 1/2in. :) I cut two squares and glued them together to make a big enough blank for this bowl.
Unfortunately some of the features were lost in the turning process, but I am very happy with the end result.
The repairs were made with 5 minute epoxy and coffee grounds. The finished size is 8in x 3in.
C & C welcome. Please enjoy.

Bob.

I wish that was a way to preserve that face on the slabs end-grain however, the result is just extraordinary.

Great piece of wood, design and finish Bob, well done mate...!

Again, how often do you see a piece of wood like that...??? not often enough...!

Awesome, we have no countertops here that look like that! Can only imagaine what the actual counter looks like. Beautiful timber, and a big thumbs up on the bowl!!!!
