That is a very nice cigar pen SA. I particularly like the darkening of the wood just above the ash. That is certainly a realistic touch.

Lovely! Clever idea to switch the orientation so the cap doesn't have the ash end. Bamboo looks fabulous!

Real nice pen, I have recently turned three out of maple burl, but I really like the bamboo.

Thank you for the kind comments. The burn mark at the end where the BEB and bamboo meet is where I took the lighter to it, then sanded where I didn't want the burn marks.

I live in Martinez Ty. Do you ever go to any of the Savannah Woodturners meetings? I've been to a couple.

I've been to the Palmetto Pen Turners meetings a few times with Jonathon. Haven't heard of the Savannah one. Martinez, yeah you're like 15 minutes from me then. Which is almost across town in Augusta!
