Wouldn't do it a second time,my shoulder couldn't take it.Before powertools it was all done this way.fellas had to be tough to hand plane boards all day,I'd never make it through a day.Hopefully the shoulder is just over worked.This will be the top of my first bench one day.

Years ago, when my uncle's bursitis(sp?) was acting up, the doc would tell him to go cut up a tree....cross cut saw style! And it helped!

Might have to agree with the doc.Had a busy day at work which forced me to keep it moving and it is feeling alot better.
