The old 20 watt laser cost $300 plus $70 for the very primitive cover. My first show netted over $300 in laser cut/engraved items. Several thousand later it has officially been replaced by a new xTool S1 40 watt unit with an AP2 smoke filtration system. It was not cheap, but it vents outside after filtering the air from the unit. My laser engraver/3D printer room is smoke free for the first time. I can breathe easier.
This unit is fast and the included xTool software is superior to Lightburn which cost me $30/year.
