Off Center

So I'm still rather new to turning butI want to try my hand at using an off center chuck. Has anyone tried using one and if so can you give me some tips.

You can do cool stuff with them. Just take everything slow and easy

Slow!!! Your lathe is going to be out of balance so get everything out of the way!! Light cuts and it helps to make index lines on your tool rest so you can tell the rotation boundries.
