Odd Little Slimline with lacquer finish

I am so liking this lacquer finish!

This one is walnut with something else laminated for the centerband. The finish is by simply dipping the piece on lacquer, letting it dry two hours, dipping again. Kind of like lather, rinse, repeat.

The turning overwhelms the pen. Great wood, design and finish but the turning is all the eye sees.

Looks neat, but how does it feel? The transition from the upper barrel from the center ball does not flow as smoothly as it does with the lower barrel. I like the segmentation of the upper barrel nice job on the blank.
