Not wanting to steal another thread about turning with one or both hands got me thinking.....what unique ability do you posess that others may find odd or at worst, totally useless?
I'll start: I can write backwards and/or upside down and backwards quite easily in cursive or printing. It has no practical use to me but others seem to scratch their head. I once filled out a entry form in fron t of the host while opposite her...she had several others come to watch, it was funny!

Glenn,
I to can write backwards, upside-down, upside down and backwards, mirror image, reverse mirror image… A totally useless skill but fun to do, as you mentioned. I think our unique skills must be a sign of great intelligence.
Do a good turn daily!

I am a lefty and can do the writing backwards and up until just a few minutes ago never tried writing upside down. I can do that also:biggrin: That made me start thinking(scary I know) then I done it with my right hand also. Its not quite as pretty but I wil work on that. Iactually did my shift report backwards once because my relief was so OCD it would drive them crazy....I was right.

a class mate and i used to pass notes in class written in script backwards to keep nosy neighbors from reading it, i became quite good at it. better than writing script forward in fact.

I can do this too... with either hand equally well.

It makes no difference which hand I use... you still can't read it.

:bulgy-eyes: Wish I had the unique ability, to pluck that pesky biomaterial in the left auditory organ, with ease.

I am totally right handed, when it comes to using only one hand. My left one is very dangerous.
But when both hands are involved or required, I am left handed.
??????????????????????

Bob.

I shoot with both eyes open even with a scope and can use a pistol in ether hand although the right is a little faster from the holster.

I'm really good at recognizing voices (not just the ones in my head!). After I've heard somebody talk for a little while I can easily pick their voice out and have figured out what characters actors have played in the past based just on hearing their voice. For some reason I'm especially helped along by accents, even subtle ones. If an actor is using a different accent that will throw me off for a bit.

My wife, on the other hand, is better at recognizing faces than facial recognition software. She will see a grown actor/actress and can tell you what obscure tv show or commercial they were originally in as a kid. I'm sure there is some sort of super power there if we could combine ourselves :p

I can spin objects like you would a basketball, for long periods of time. Only on the right hand, but with any finger on that hand...From lightweight dvd cases to just about anything I can support with one finger. I did drop a drink tray on the restaurant owner that I used to work for, and i dropped a dinner plate at my Mother in Law's...but other than that I have a pretty good track record.

IIRC Michelangelo could write backwards. Also, he could write with both hands and carry on a conversation at the same time. You are good company.

You may be...ahem,write, but I think you are referring to Leonardo DaVinci who had those abilities, but I have been wrong before.
