Here is an octagonal pen I finished, which I made from Conway Stewart "Azure" acrylic. It's about 5" long, with 12.5mm cap threads. Clip is made from silver. The cap and barrel both have subtle tapers. It uses a jowo 6 nib.

Sweet, was wondering the pen wizard could do tapered pens. Thanks.
Pen wizard seems like it would be very limited in what it can do. Seems a bit lightweight to do any heaving milling on. I'd spend the $$$ on a mill and be able to do infinitely more tasks.

They do not come any better than this pen John, there are so many wise and understanding pen turners who will be gobsmacked by your pen. Congratulation on using a decent mill and cutters with delicate blanks like these. So many thanks for sharing this with me,so far away but vitally interested and impressed.
Peter.
