Bet this one smelled good while being turned?!?!?!
Is the grain as 'open' as it looks from the photo on this blank? Fit-n-finish seem to be pretty good from the angle shown.

Nice turning and cool wood, but I just do not care for the looks of that kit.

The pen looks great. And you did an amazing job finishing the wood. But I agree; not a fan of that kit.
